On January 30, 2014, CUTR’s Best Workplaces for Commuters co-hosted a netconference with the Association for Commuter Transportation on employee commute programs at airports. The netconference focused on reporting the findings from ACRP Synthesis 36: Exploring Airport Employee Commute and Parking Strategies. The synthesis documents what is known about airport employee commute patterns and modes. The report summarizes what programs are being offered to airport employees by the airport operator or a transportation management association. This netconference featured the primary author of the ACRP synthesis and representatives from two of the five case studies featured in the report. Each case study provided examples of how employee commute options strategies are applied in their airport environment. More information about the netconference and access to the recording and copies of the presentations can be found at Best Workplaces for Commuters.
