The goals of the weekly Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering/Center for Urban Transportation Research Friday Seminar Series are:
- Provide transportation students with seminars, presentations, and discussions of contemporary transportation research, technology and implementation issues, presented by local, regional and/or national level speakers and visiting scholars.
- To increase knowledge at the local and regional levels on issues related to transportation research, technology and implementation.
- To increase the reach of technology transfer, especially to those transportation professionals who cannot travel to state and national conferences, due to time and cost constraints.
- To encourage discussion among participants and receive input on subjects requiring future research.
The seminar is offered as TTE 6930 Graduate Transportation Seminar for 1 credit.
The CEE/CUTR Friday Transportation Seminars are held every Friday during the USF semester from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (ET). The seminars are held in-person, when possible, in CUT202. To join the course virtually, please use the link below to join the Microsoft Teams meeting.
