Qianwen (Cami) Li is a transportation engineering student at the University of South Florida. Before attending USF, Cami earned her bachelor’s degree from Shandong University in China. She loves working in the field of transportation because it affects our everyday life. Cami is extremely passionate about making transportation systems safer, but she also aspires to create greener commutes. After graduation, Cami hopes to become a faculty member, continue her research, and mentor younger students.
When she isn’t studying, Cami loves to travel with family and friends. “It doesn’t matter where we are going, it is the process of experiencing something together that fascinates me!” said Cami.
Cami is a Ph.D. candidate at USF and a research assistant with the Connected & Autonomous Transportation Systems (CATS) Lab. She is also an active leader in USF’s ITE group. Cami will graduate in 2022.
