GIS and Transportation Informatics

Program Overview

The GIS and Transportation Informatics group is dedicated to conducting research activities that facilitate the use and analysis of transportation-related geospatial data. The group is headed by a lead transportation researcher with over 15 years of GIS and transportation research. GIS-TI Group is dedicated to using the state of the art technologies to ensure that the most timely data is used to improve the decision-making process. The research team also specializes in public transit performance measures, transit accessibility, and livability.  Additionally, research efforts include the development of internet-based data applications and GIS analysis. The group provides geospatial analysis for all CUTR research projects. Additionally, the group conducts research for a variety of agencies throughout Florida and the United States.
