Bob Burleson has been President of the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association since 1989.  From 1972 to 1987, he worked with Wiley N. Jackson Company, a major roadbuilder in the southeast United States, where he became Vice President for administration and North Florida Operations; the company was sold in 1987. In 1986, he was presented the ARTBA Award by the American Road & Transportation Builders Association and in 1997 he was presented the Golden Eagle Award by the Floridians for Better Transportation. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction.
