Mr. Makarand Gawade has been awarded the 2013 Georgia Brosch Memorial Transportation Scholarship

Mr. Gawade will receive a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Fall 2014.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the SP College of Engineering, University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India.   His dissertation involves understanding the influence of urban form and street design on multimodal public transportation efficiency.  He worked on several projects at CUTR which encompassed
