CUTR has a team of experienced and dedicated personnel who work on a range of transportation-related projects and programs. The center’s staff includes educators, researchers, and technical experts who are committed to improving transportation safety for all road users.

In addition to its core staff, CUTR also works with a network of partners and collaborators in the transportation field. These partners include other research institutions, government agencies, and industry associations. By leveraging the expertise and resources of these partners, CUTR is able to make a greater impact on transportation safety and driver education issues.

Zhila Nouri is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of South Florida. She started her Ph.D. program in 2014. She received her Master’s degree in Software Computer Engineering from the University of Isfahan, Iran, in 2009, and her Bachelor’s degree in Software Computer Engineering from Azad University of Najaf Abad, Iran, in 2006. She worked for five years in different industrial companies before starting her Ph.D. program. Her current research focuses on computing with spatial trees on GPUs. She is working on the Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment Program under the supervision of Dr. Sisinnio Concas.
