The USF-ITE Student Chapter is excited to announce the University of South Florida has placed 1st in the ITE Safe System Approach Competition. ITE Student Chapters from all corners of the United States were invited to create a video showcasing local case studies demonstrating Safe System Approach practices. This win underscores USF-ITE’s unwavering commitment to advancing safety and innovation within transportation systems.
Heartfelt congratulations to the student researchers spearheading this initiative, Rakesh Rangaswamy and Divyamitra Mishra, who persevered through the challenging Florida heat and rainstorms to film and research this project. A special thanks to Jodi Godfrey and Jason Jackman for their invaluable support and guidance throughout the project.
