Abstract
In this seminar, Chuck Huffine will discuss how his team assists the City of Clearwater with their day-to-day traffic engineering needs and projects. Chuck will discuss tasks related to the Clearwater Beach roundabout, the Drew Street Road Diet, the transit center, safety grants, fiber/traffic management center design, safety studies, traffic impact study reviews, signal retiming, and mobility studies.
Presenter
Chuck Huffine, PE, PTOE, AICP, RSP1, has extensive experience performing and managing many aspects of traffic engineering and transportation planning including traffic operations and traffic safety studies, transportation and corridor plans, traffic signal coordination, and traffic impact studies. He is currently serving as traffic and planning practice lead for the firm Mead and Hunt. Chuck has over 37 years of experience in the transportation industry and currently serves as Chair of the Traffic Engineering Council for the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
