CUTR’s Jodi Godfrey was awarded the Nathan H. “Nat” Rambo Florida Puerto Rico District ITE (FLPRITE) District Fellowship Award during the FLPRITE Annual Meeting. The FLPRITE District’s Fellowship Award, established in 1996, is named for Nathan H. “Nat” Rambo in recognition of his lasting distinguished participation in the activities of the District and his outstanding contribution to the fellowship and camaraderie among its members. Nat was a native of Philadelphia, graduating from the Williamson School of Technology in Philadelphia before working with the Tampa Public Utility Electric Company. In 1950 Governor Fuller Warren appointed him to head up the Florida Citizens Safety Council, which later became the Governor’s Highway Safety Council. The FLPRITE District presents the Nathan H. Rambo Fellowship Award on a non-annual basis to a member who has demonstrated an outstanding level of effort to foster good professional relationships among the District’s membership. CUTR’s previous director Edward A. Mierzejewski, Ph.D., P.E., also won the award in 2008.
Congratulations!
