Alex Kolpakov, CUTR senior research associate and director of Tampa Bay Clean Cities, moderated the AI and Autonomous Vehicles panel at the Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference in Raleigh. This annual conference and fleet expo, hosted by the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center at North Carolina State University, focuses on the latest developments in innovative, sustainable solutions for public and private fleets. The AI and Autonomous Vehicles panel featured experts presenting potential applications that improve connected and autonomous vehicles in the fleet world. Presentations topics covered shared mobility options, autonomous vehicles and trucking, development and deployment of autonomous shuttles and transit buses, and data management strategies to ensure safe and efficient operations for autonomous fleet vehicles.
