CUTR staff from the Transit Research Program, including Vicky Perk and student researchers Ramy Sadig and Camila Marks, administered the FDOT-sponsored National Transit Database (NTD) training course August 7-9, 2023. The training was hosted by Palm Tran and attended by 43 participants from 14 Florida agencies. To assist NTD reporters in ensuring the accuracy of their reports, FDOT designed the seminar for anyone affiliated with a Florida public agency who is responsible for urban data reporting, statistical compilation, or other financial duties and activities related to the NTD. Topics included “who” reports and “what” to report; 2023 report year updates (including new weekly reporting); transit asset management reporting; safety and security reporting and updates; and collection and compilation of required data.
