On September 7, 2023, CUTR researchers Jason Jackman, Tia Boyd, and Taylor Dinehart, along with Brandie Miklus, AICP, will present at the Florida Planning Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. The panel-style session will include a discussion of strategies for meaningful public participation through citizen education, using the Tampa Bay Citizens Academy on Transportation (TB-CAT – a project funded through the National Institute for Congestion Reduction) as a case example. This year, the Florida Planning Conference, hosted by the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association, will bring together local planners and professionals in related fields, to converge on the theme “Roots and Rivers.”
