CUTR’s Paul Goyette, Gennaro Saliceto WSO-CSE-CSI(SL), and Roberta Yegidis visited the U.S. Department of Transportation‘s Transportation Technology Center and participated in training for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) surface transportation inspectors. The 13 TSA participants received training on the following topics:
-De-escalation and Customer Service Strategies for Surface Transportation
-How to Conduct a Bus Collision Investigation
-Rail Collision Investigation a Short Course
-Transit Emergencies: Validating Local Preparedness
The inaugural training session is just the initial step in a broader series of courses designed to benefit over 300 TSA surface transportation inspectors.
