The Drug and Alcohol Program Management (DAPM) Certification Program is designed specifically for Florida’s transit agencies’ Designated Employer Representatives (DERs) – those who manage the implementation of drug and alcohol regulatory compliance programs, are responsible for mitigating the risks associated with substance abuse within their transit systems and who play a vital role in overall transit system safety within their organizations. Graduates of this program will have a thorough understanding of FTA’s prohibited substances testing program regulations, the ability to accurately evaluate their transit agency’s level of compliance and implement corrective measures where areas of concern exist. This course is accomplished over a period of approximately 6-8 months using webinars, CBTs and classroom-style training. Applications for enrollment are released by CUTR in September of each year.
