Brett is the director of general aviation at Tampa International Airport and is responsible for directing the operations, maintenance, and business initiatives of the Aviation Authority’s three General Aviation airports which include Plant City, Peter O. Knight, and Tampa Executive Airport. Brett has worked in airport management for over 15 years and has previously held positions at Lakeland Linder International Airport and Aspen Pitkin County Airport. He is responsible for Advanced Air Mobility for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and Chairs their Advanced Aviation Technology Committee. Brett is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives and holds a B.S. in Aerospace Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
Abstract
An airport perspective on planning for the rapidly growing industry of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). With strengthening political support and significant economic benefits, AAM innovation is quickly becoming a reality for the future of transportation in aviation. It is critical that airports plan for safe integration into the airport system, and into the community. This presentation will discuss how Tampa International Airport is learning from industry leaders, engaging stakeholders, and incorporating AAM into its Master Planning Process to successfully assimilate to this new age of industry.

Matt Broffman is the senior manager for US Launch at Lilium Aviation, a company built to advance how the world moves with the latest revolution in sustainable, high-speed regional air mobility. In this role, Broffman is focused on ensuring the ecosystem of public and private partners are place for the Lilium jet’s launch in the US.
Abstract
Lilium is creating a sustainable and accessible mode of high-speed, regional transportation for people and goods. Using the Lilium Jet, an all-electric vertical take-off and landing jet, offering leading capacity, low noise, and high performance with zero operating emissions, Lilium is accelerating the decarbonization of air travel. Working with aerospace, technology and infrastructure leaders and with planned launch networks announced in Florida, Germany, and Brazil. Hear from Lilium’s Sr. Manager of Launch on how the regional air mobility service enabled by the Lilium Jet will change the way residents and visitors of Tampa connect to other cities in Florida.
