Congratulations to CUTR’s Sara Hendricks, AICP, TDM-CP, on her recent election to the ACT Certification Board of Trustees (CBOT). CBOT oversees the business and affairs of the TDM-CP program. Trustees play a pivotal role in providing a strong foundation for the certification program. “I am pleased to serve on the ACT TDM-CP Board of Trustees to participate in efforts to elevate the TDM profession in the transportation field and bring recognition to the important contributions that TDM professionals make in improving mobility and reducing traffic congestion,” wrote Hendricks in response to her election. Sara Hendricks started her transportation career in private consulting, conducting studies on parking and the traffic impacts of land development. After earning her master’s degree in regional planning, Hendricks moved to Tampa, Florida to conduct policy studies with CUTR. Hendricks was the inaugural director for the transportation management initiative, New North Transportation Alliance. She has conducted numerous studies in the areas of growth management, regulatory instruments for reducing traffic congestion, bicycle and pedestrian studies, and the field of telework. She has taught modules for several years for the Florida Commuter Choice Certificate Program. Hendricks passed TDM-CP exam in 2020. Hendricks served as Principal Editor for the TMA Handbook that is already used as a primary source for preparing for the exam.
