MPO Staffing and Organizational Structures
This webinar will explain the findings of a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) research report that documents how MPOs have structured their organizations and allocated staff resources and expertise. Presenter: Jeff Kramer, AICP, Senior Research Associate, Center for Urban Transportation Research
Jeff Kramer, AICP is a Senior Research Associate with the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, FL. His research primarily focuses on MPO policy, planning and processes and he has published numerous papers and articles focusing on various aspects of metropolitan transportation planning. He was the Principal Investigator for the FHWA report Staffing and Organizational Structures published by the Federal Highway Administration in October 2017. Mr. Kramer has worked with MPOs across the country on a variety of issues related to metropolitan policy and practices and provides ongoing research and training support to the Florida MPO Advisory Council (MPOAC). Mr. Kramer holds a Master’s degree in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Cornell University.
