Importance of Efficient Ground Transportation Access to Airports
This webcast will explore the benefits of ground transportation access that is mutually beneficial to the airport and local community. The webcast will discuss some challenges against and opportunities for enhanced intergovernmental coordination to support this outcome. The webcast will also cover some best practices and initiatives employed at airports around the country through the examination of a few case studies. Download Handout
Presenter: Gareth Hanley, RS&H’s Aviation Practice
Gareth Hanley serves as an Aviation Planner for RS&H’s Aviation Practice. Mr. Hanley’s experience that encompasses a variety of airport planning tasks, with significant experience at medium- and large-hub airports. Mr. Hanley earned his Master of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida. Mr. Hanley is certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives. He has served as RS&H’s point of contact with the Airport Cooperatives Research Program through the Champion Program since 2016.
