During the 30th Annual Meeting of the International Chinese Transportation Professionals Association (ICTPA) on May 19-21, 2017 held in Houston, Texas, Dr. Pei-Sung Lin received the ICTPA’s Distinguished Service Award for recognition of his outstanding service and significant contribution to the ICTPA as Immediate Past President, President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Florida Chapter President.
The conference paper titled “Optimization of Freeway Patrol Operations – A Comprehensive Case Study” was selected by the conference Technical Committee for the Best Paper Award. This paper was written based on the analysis and findings from a recently completed research project sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7. The authors of this paper include Pei-Sung Lin, Zhenyu Wang from CUTR, Mohsen Parsafard and Xiaopeng Li from the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at the University of South Florida, and Chester Chandler from the FDOT District 7.
International Chinese Transportation Professionals Association is a non-profit organization. Dr. Pei-Sung Lin receives ICTPA’s Distinguished Service Award because he deserves it.
