Congratulations to CUTR’s Graduate Research Assistant, National Institute of Transportation and Communities Livability Scholar and the National Center for Transit Research Scholar, Austin Gibble for graduating with his Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning and landing a job! He will be a Project Development Planner for the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo) and assisting in the implementation of the new transit network that was approved by voters last November, including the planning of all-electric bus rapid transit lines. Ilona Nemeth
Ilona Nemeth graduated with her Master’s degree in Psychology from USF St. Petersburg. She has been working with the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) group and is currently looking for employment. Ilona would like to find work as a social psychology research assistant or psychology instructor. All the best to you as you embark on your new career!
Courtney Cleland
Congratulations to Courtney Cleland, who completed her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at USF. While at CUTR, she worked on pedestrian and bicycle survey data collection, pedestrian and bicycle safety outreach, naturalistic driving data video extraction and data entry and traffic crash analysis. After graduation, she plans to work at CUTR part-time and continue doing research in Type II Diabetes with the James A. Haley VA hospital. Her future plans are to find a research position in the medical field. She would like to have a hands-on position with a hospital, university or within a biomedical company where she will have the opportunity to make medical breakthroughs and improve the medical industry.
