Kaitlyn French





Katie French, is a Master’s Candidate in Public Health, and earned her Bachelor’s in Public Health at University of South Florida.

Katie is interested in working with a variety of populations to prevent injury through behavior change, and is passionate about program implementation and evaluation. While at CUTR, Katie has helped develop Mentorship Program for Every Rider, a pilot program to promote voluntary helmet use, as well as a social marketing campaign.

Katie received a National Presidential Road Safety Scholarship and the SHARP award from USF College of Public Health to present “Motorcycle Helmet Use: Exploring motorcyclists’ beliefs, attitudes and behaviors through the lens of behavioral theories” at American Public Health Association 2016 Annual Meeting and Expo.
