Alert Today Florida
The scope of the Florida Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) is aimed at providing a comprehensive framework for reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads. We coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive communication plans that will improve public awareness of pedestrian and bicycle crash problems and programs directed at preventing them. Alert Today Florida has Facebook and Twitter pages to increase awareness by engaging residents with our safety efforts and providing general safety information. Our social media and educational outreach team hosts exhibits on and off campus to raise awareness of the Alert Today Alive Tomorrow safety campaign and increase pedestrian and bicycle safety awareness.
