April 21, 2011 Florida’s growth management requirements have changed considerably over the years and new changes are in the works. One thing, however, hasn’t changed – the need to link land use and transportation plans to accomplish a safe, efficient and sustainable transportation system that improves the quality of life in our communities. This session aims to familiarize planners with Florida’s mobility fee concept and the range of land use and transportation strategies available to them to improve local and regional mobility through two new resources – the FDOT Mobility Review Guide and Template.
