November 4, 2010 This webcast presents the highlights of an 18‐month study funded by the Federal Highway Administration. Topics include the organizational structure of MPOs, staffing levels, specialization of staff, workforce turnover, and the governance of MPOs. The webcast is intended for MPO staff or others interested in MPOs, such as state DOT personnel and local government transportation planners. Participants will learn how to benchmark their MPO to others nationally. Further, participants will learn about innovative solutions to common MPO staffing and planning problems.
