TDM TRAINING COURSE OFFERED IN APRIL AND MAY

"Managing Our Way Through Congestion" an intensive training program in transportation demand management (TDM), will be offered in Tampa April 3-7, 1995 and in Ft. Lauderdale May 8-12, 1995. The course is sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation and will be conducted by the Center for Urban Transportation Research.

The five-day course is designed to equip those responsible for congestion management with the skills to implement TDM techniques effectively. It will offer a fast-paced, in-depth study of key facets of TDM and is designed for professionals who already have a basic working knowledge of TDM. The course will be held in Tampa at the Guest Quarters by Doubletree hotel and in Ft. Lauderdale at the Crown Sterling Suites hotel. Participants can attend the full five-day course in Tampa or Ft. Lauderdale, or part of the course in Tampa and the remainder in Ft. Lauderdale. Attending selected days in either location is also an option for a per-day fee. Participants completing all five days of the course are eligible to receive four Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

The "early bird" fee for Florida residents is $250 for the full five-day course or $65 per day. For non-Florida residents, the cost is $325 for the full course or $100 per day.
