Through several Florida Department of Transportation funded grants, CUTR coordinated and provides many workshops,
training courses, and seminars on a range of transit related subjects. These training opportunities are typically
intended for representatives of state transit/public transportation agencies, metropolitan planning organizations,
local governments, and consultants involved in the transit industry, including the day to day operations and management
of transit systems. We encourage a cross-section of participants from different agencies as a way to facilitate and
improved intergovernmental coordination and understanding of agency roles, policies, procedures and best practices.
