Representative Experience

· Designed and managed the Resource for Advanced Public Transportation Systems (RAPTS) website.

· Managed listserv for the Florida Transit Planning Network (FTPN).

· Designed and published three FTPN newsletters.

· Designed and collected data for the APTS Inventory of all Florida fixed route transit systems.

· Created APTS Inventory database in Microsoft Access.

· Provided GIS technical assistance for JTA to analyze bus stop data.

· Designed and managed onboard surveys at BCT and Palm Tran and analyzed surveys collected.

· Conducted peer and trend studies as part of Transit Development Plans (TDPs) for JTA, ECAT, LeeTran, and Palm Tran.

· Provided assistance in completing various TDP-related activities for JTA and Palm Tran.

· Assisted PI in writing the report “Planning Assessment Program for Florida Public Transportation Systems”.

· Assisted PI in researching and evaluating the potential for privatization of LYNX fixed route services.

· Provided technical assistance and developed a report for Gainesville (RTS) Community Forums.

· Principal Investigator for the report “Public Transit Investment Decisions: Per Capita Trends and Conditions”.

· Developed a white paper entitled “Electronic Fare Payment Media; Are Smart Cards the Answer?”

· Created various reports for service planning and route performance for LYNX.

· Completed a Comprehensive Operations Analysis of the LYNX fixed route system.

· Assisted with Free Fare Zone and BRT Expansion Studies in Orlando.

· Collected and analyzed ridership data and trends for LYNX.

· Collected data for completion of the Annual Operating Report (AOR) for MCAT.

· Prepared planning documents for the Transportation Disadvantaged Service Plan (TDSP) for MCAT.

· Created guidelines for a vanpool program in Manatee County.

· Created a scope of services for procurement of bus shelters for MCAT.

· Prepared various grant applications for FTA and FDOT operating and capital project funds for MCAT.

· Developed, managed, and analyzed ride-check surveys for RTS.
