Representative Experience

·         Established organizational framework for implementation and evaluation of travel demand management strategies in the University North area of Tampa

·         Developed public-participation plan for greenway planning in northern Dade County

·         Evaluated the feasibility of bicycles-on-bus service for Metropolitan Dade County through the development of a demonstration program

·         Analyzed motor vehicle crashes with bicyclists and pedestrians and investigated options for funding the construction of safe facilities

·         Evaluated local government transportation concurrency management systems as they affect the development of public transit systems

·         Evaluated local government comprehensive planning process for State Transportation Policy Initiative

·         Wrote chapter on strategies for development of non-motorized transportation for Commute Alternatives Systems Handbook and conducted an associated workshop on bicycle and pedestrian commuting for TDM certification course

·         Determined the comparative suitability of three alternative locations for the construction of a county government complex

·         Analyzed the feasibility and impacts of a proposed second bridge to connect several beach communities with the mainland

·         Conducted speed and delay studies and monitored traffic operation on major detour routes during reconstruction of an interstate highway
